The company was launched in 2004 by Owner / Director - Sally Desch. Ms Desch has built the company from her base in human resource management within the public sector. She has established robust business credentials which have underpinned the company’s growth.

The team comprises a combined 50 years experience in the recruitment sector, including the private recruitment sector and significant operational skills gained in local government and state government employment.
HRM Contracting & Consulting has an established pool of temporary staff, also being a Preferred Supplier for the Sunshine Coast Council in various positions ranging from Local Laws Officer, Labourer and Administration to Accountants.
HRM has has established an excellent network of employers - with whom strong working relationships have been forged. The nature of these relationships has fostered mutual trust and respect which has facilitated successful placements through direct contact with employers - reverse marketing individuals - highlighting their skills and attributes as well as any issues that may be relevant.
A key part of HRM’s success with all jobseekers is the individual approach taken with initial registration and screening. Each person is treated with respect and interviewed in a private environment to support detailed and honest discussion. Emphasis is placed on operating in a non-judgemental way allowing each jobseeker to maintain self respect. However it is equally important to stress that the consultants are skilled at communicating directly with candidates and being clear and honest about their position and steps required to achieve success.
